Baggins Little Joe

Baggins Little Joe, originally uploaded by LNBright.

two cords, two cord locks, the end of each goes through a grommet back into the bag! That’s the genius part.
That middle bottom grommet might just be for looks. It’s a vent hole*.

Thanks for sharing these, Leslie – if I ever get another Little Joe, I’ll know to do it this way.

*cracked myself up.

  1. I’m not sure how it’s ‘supposed’ to run; I considered trying to get more of a bungee-type of cord and run it instead, but after seeing the picture of Lesli’s setup, I went with that… but I noticed that it basically just left the extra length hanging, which is what I was wanting to avoid (didn’t want to see it get caught up in the brake, or spokes).

Tucking it back into the bag, just seemed to handle that, and using two cords/two locks provided a bit of adjustability.

I agree, I was trying to figure out a way to ‘use’ that center grommet, but, as you mentioned, consider it a ‘drain’, and not worry w/ it…
